'DAY CAMP’ & ‘ADVANCED TRAINING’ CAMP (ATC) 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM DAILY PRE-CAMP INFORMATION
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP TIMES //
EARLY PICK-UPS // CAMPER ABSENCES Parents should use caution in the parking lot when dropping off and picking up campers. Participants should be at camp 10-15 minutes before program starting times (20-30 minutes on Monday), and picked up at 3:00 PM. No supervision is provided before or after these hours. IMPORTANT NOTE: Parents arriving to pick up their children after 3:15 pm will be charged $1.00 per minute for staff supervision time. This fee must be paid in full before dropping off your child the next day (except Friday when it will be due that day).// Any adult wishing to arrange early pickup of camper(s) before program ending times MUST FIRST CHECK-IN WITH THE ON-SITE DIRECTOR to officially sign-out their child. The director will not release any camper during scheduled program times without the appropriate verification and signature of authorized adults listed on the camper’s application or in a note signed by the parent or guardian. // The camp will take roll at the beginning of each program day. Parents of any camper missing at this roll call will be telephoned, either at home or work, unless their child’s absence has been accounted for by either a parents note or phone call to the camp office at (925) 935-3505. PLEASE LET THE CAMP OFFICE KNOW IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE ABSENT ON ANY DAY! OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONY // PARENT VISITS // MEDICAL NEEDS // PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS A short ‘opening ceremony’ for parents and campers will be held on the first day of each program week. It is strongly urged that parents have their children at the camp early this first day in order to issue T-shirts, find their team assignments, and handle any last minute business. An ‘Awards Ceremony’ will be held on Friday beginning at approximately 2:30 PM, with campers receiving their: Camp Scouting Report, camp picture, and other special honors. // Parents are welcome to attend these and all other daily camp activities. // The camp medical staff or director will be available to talk with parents at Monday’s check-in and receive all medications (all medications should be placed in a sealed ‘baggie’ with the campers name and instructions for use). Campers are not to have any medications (non-prescription or prescription) in their possession while at camp unless arrangements have been made with the camp director. All medications are to be handled and administered in the presence of the camp medical staff or director. // Due to lack of permanent shelter at most camp sites the camp is not able to adequately operate under adverse weather conditions. Though it is extremely rare for a program day(s) to be cancelled due to rain parents should make plans to pick up their children early if weather conditions become unsuitable. Please do not drop off your child if rain is threatening without calling the camp office or asking the on-site staff about the status of the day’s program. LUNCHES & DRINKS // MONEY AT CAMP // EMERGENCY TELEPHONE //All campers should bring a lunch and drink in a sealed container or paper bag with THEIR NAME ON IT. Parents should not pack perishable items in lunches as refrigeration is not available at the camp sites. // NO MONEY should be brought to camp. The camp cannot be responsible for lost or stolen money or valuables. // All emergency phone calls regarding campers should be directed through the Camp office at (925) 935-3505. // WHAT TO BRING MARK YOUR NAME ON ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS !
*NOTE* Campers should not bring jewelry or other valuable items to camp. The camp will provide all other necessary baseball equipment and campers should not bring their own bats and balls. The camp will not be responsible for lost or stolen equipment. |
